Which Way?

Have you ever been out driving and suddenly realize you don't know where you are? You don’t know how you got lost and how your going to get to where to you need to be. Maybe you have been with someone who would not pull over for directions or stop to get a map – and you drove around longer and longer until you were “so lost” you were forced to ask for help. I think we have all been there at least a few times. The best thing to do is get a map or directions before we leave. We at times go through life not knowing where we are going – we go around in “Circles” for a long time. Then as time goes by, we can find ourselves never going where we were meant to be. Psalms 27: 10 says “Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies” Psalms 16: 11 “Thou wilt make known of life: In thy presence is fullness of joy: in thy right hand there are pleasures forever” We never have to have that sense of being lost or not know where were going. The Lord promises to lead us in our life and direct our path. To show us in time what His plan is and the direction He wants to lead us in.

Weekly Take Away:

Getting lost is no joke for sure!! It truly for me and my family would have saved a lot of time if we would have just made sure we knew exactly how to get where we were going. In our relationship with God we can be the same way. Sometimes we plan our own route and expect Him to bless what we feel we have mapped out fro us. Other times we just don't take the time to listen to His voice, direction and be our navigator. Ask yourself this week if the "Road" you find yourself on is the road that God has asked you be on? Do you find yourself on the "Roundabout" going around in circles over and over again? God promises to direct our steps so take time this week to ask Him if where you are at, or headed is where He wants you to be.

Gift of Love

I heard a line in a Christmas movie once where a woman told a man that the first gift ever given was a child- meaning Jesus being born. It was a great movie, and that line is one that I will never for
