I was driving home around 11:30 pm last week and noticed on the left side of the highway there were several crews out paving the road. At first I thought why in the world would they do this at night? Then I realized it could be that traffic is less, and maybe because it's cooler in the evening....so that settled my silly questions. Then I thought how in the world are they even able to see? It's REALLY dark out at 11:30 at night and that is when The Holy Spirit spoke to me and showed me that these big trucks have lights and they are going inch by inch. They were taking their time because that is all they could see...what was right in front of them. They had miles to go on that highway but at that moment it wasn't about the miles they had to do, it was about what was right in front of them...so again that settled my questions. It also though reminded me that I need to at times stop focusing on THE MILES yet to go and just let God lead me inch by inch of what is right in front of me. He IS THE LIGHT and HE IS my navigator. To trust that whatever I need to do or am worried about "5 miles" down the road, we will get to it in time, but for now lets just focus on today.

So this picture may or may not have been taken while I was driving (oops) but I looked over obviously in the day time and saw how nice it looks and realized it was done in the DARK.
Never underestimate what God can do despite your situation. Understand also those "Roads" that need "Paved" will be paved and smoothed out, but for now let God handle whats right in front of you inch by inch!
