Hello Can You Hear Me

If you have children you probably like me have experienced moments when you have called them, and they don’t answer. What makes it so frustrating is that you know they hear you, but either they are busy with what their doing and don’t answer, or they know why your calling them and they don’t want to do what they know your asking them to do. Our relationship with the Lord can be the same way. We hear Him calling for us and we are too busy to answer. We think if we don’t respond He’ll quit, but He doesn’t quit. Maybe at certain times He just wants to have conversation with us, and at other times He’s calling us to do something. He could be asking us do something that we don’t want to do out of lack of wisdom, strength, or just desire – it is out of our comfort level, out of our “Norm.” Romans 8: 28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Matthew 11:15 "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Like I tell my kids, “When I’m calling for you it might just be something we are going to do, something really fun, and you don’t even know it”. So the next time you hear Him calling – answer right away because you could be “Missing out.”

Weekly Take Away:

God is always trying to communicate to us. So many things He wants to share with us.....and we fail to listen so often. This week when you hear Him "Calling for you" be quick to stop what your doing and just listen. There is so much He wants to share with you, reveal to you and to just remind you how much He loves you.
