Go - Show and Tell

There will come a day for all parents when they must let their children go. Everything in life is about seasons and changes- including a child’s life. They started out as helpless infants then slowly became more and more independent.

Then the day arrives that that once helpless infant has graduated from High School and is preparing for college and soon, they will leave the nest. The parents are left hoping and praying their child will have a great and successful life and will remember all the goodness they have been taught. It’s not a literal goodbye but a sendoff. That child will now have the responsibility of making their own way in life but will always have a home to come back to. The love and support will always be available to them.

Just as a child grows and moves on so do, we. Everything God does is for a season, and then it’s time to move on to the next season. It’s difficult at times to move on but it is also exciting. It’s exciting to see where God is taking us and to see His plans for us revealed.

God created Praying Wives and Mothers and it’s the most beautiful ministry I have seen and been privileged to be a part of as I’m sure it is for you. Now though God wants to take you into another season. He wants to reveal more and more of Himself to you. He also wants you to take everything you have seen, learned, heard and been healed from and share it with others.

Mark 16:15 tells all of us this: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Many cannot literally go into the entire world, but all of us can minister in our own “backyard”. We all have the same commission from Christ to spread the gospel and win souls for His Kingdom. We are to radiate Christ and His love to all mankind.

Luke 11:33 “No man when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.”

We are to be the light of the world – to bring the light of Christ to the world. To show people that God loves them and, has a plan for their lives. To tell them that they have been bought with a price, and there is forgiveness for all sins through Jesus’ blood that was shed. To present hope to all men, showing them how much God loves and values them.

Throughout your coming diligently each week to this group God has taught you many things. He has been faithful, loving and gracious towards you and He will continue. He is now asking you though to be His light to all men. To take what God has shown and taught you and bring the same good news to others. How will they know if they are not told? Some of the people that will be reached can only be reached through you. God has put people in your life for many reasons and for some it’s for spreading the good news that can only be shared to them by you.

Perhaps God has or will call you to be a group leader of Praying Wives and Mothers to minister to others. Perhaps He hasn’t called you for that, but He has called you to go out and tell of Him and His goodness. I do not know the plan God has for each for you, but I do know, whatever it may be it is wonderful. He though requires of us to spread His message to everyone we can. To show the power of God and His transforming love that is available to everyone.

As you end this season in your life may you also be filled with excitement for the next season. May you realize how wonderful He is for bringing Praying Wives and Mothers into your life, and for all He has taught and given unto you. May God richly bless you and your faithfulness to Him. May His face always shine upon you as His child and servant.
