Faithful

Why do we waste so much time trying to do things our way? Why do we fret and worry when God is in control? Why do we continually try to make things happen ourselves, and then lay in bed at night unable to sleep of fear?

God tells us to cast our cares upon Him and yet we don’t. God promises His children peace and rest and yet we don’t receive it. Why? Perhaps each of us for a moment needs to reflect on the past. To take that moment of reflection and remember how God has shown up.

To remember how He proved himself faithful.

God’s greatest testimonies are through His children; you and me. Each of us has a story or two to tell. That story that increases hope because of how impossible things seemed at the time. That story that inspires faith because God showed up.

And proved once again that He is faithful.

Difficult times are never desired but are so needed. For if we never experienced them, how could God truly show us Himself? So, at night when you lay your head down, lie at complete peace and rest. Know that even while you are sleeping, He is still for you working. Know that God never quits or gives up, and He is constantly working on your behalf. He is moment by moment, working to again prove that He and His love:

Is forever and completely to you,

Faithful
